Decor is noting special, but you come for the food. We had the papusas, pinchos, and pollo encreama. We are coming back without a doubt. This is a shining example of how Salvadoran food is done.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Victoria K doesn't like about El Salvadoreño:
There were FOUR of us and it forced 18% tip. Never going here again- our waitress never refilled our drinks never asked if we wanted more drinks. The fact that the tip was forced on us and sub-par service made the experience that much worse. When I asked about the fee, not noticing it had said cash discount this waitress had the nerve to print the new one and pretend it was never there- when I showed her the picture... View all feedback.
We've been coming here for years since before they moved from downtown OP. I have tried different things from their menu, love their breakfast options and I am always craving the panes rellanos sandwich, a saucy chicken sandwich that is made to perfection every time I come in. Great staff and always a treat!
The restaurant was absolutely filthy. Every table was dirty, the floor was trashed and there weren’t any customers. My order was wrong. I clarified no less than 5 times what I wanted when I ordered, and every single dish was wrong. Service was awful. Service was slow. 0/10.
The waitress was super sweet and the food was so so good!!! Definitely recommend if you want to try something new and want good food.Food: 5/5

I love this place! The food is great, but they are always terribly understaffed. If they could figure out the staffing it would be busy. I sat and waited 20 minutes just to get our drink orders. They have one person working the whole place.Parking: Plenty of parking
