Tast... read more Disappointing for vegetarians the chef can certainly make something beautiful from various vegetables, and it's great that they come from the Oosterwaarde. Tastes differ of course (I found the green chicory very sour, for example, also in combination with the lentils) but I really didn't have enough. For example, wild boar from my partner, who does eat meat, was replaced by leek on my plate. That's out of proportion and really, I love vegetables! But I do need a protein source to feel satisfied; the crumbs of nuts on the very al dente Brussels sprouts were very minimal... I indicated that a piece of special cheese would not have been out of place, for example, which would be politely passed on, but I received nothing in return. The service was overly theatrical (loud voice, explicit and too quick naming of what was on our plate, with huge bursts in his intonation), and not warm/hospitable, but focused on his own presentation and the main character, who seemed a bit bored. as if he had said it many times before. We both didn't like that. Positive: very quick service, we didn't have to wait long for the dishes. And it was pleasant in the restaurant. Oh yes, another plus: the dog was allowed to come along and received a bowl of water! Very nice!
