Wonderful place, extraordinary food. The percebes was superb, first time for me. I ate fish, grilled octopus, and percebes.
Can 't say enough good things about this Gallego restaurant: service, menu, price, atmosphere all were super, in my opinion. I had grilled octopus! I know. I know. Not a typical fare for some palettes. But it was delicious. Then I had a chef 's salad (though I think it was called the Pingallo salad and it was huge and great and filling. My husband had camarrones (small shrimp exquisite , small sardines (xouvas he loved them and a fish called Rodaballo (turbot? a la plancha which means basically cooked on a griddle. He said it was flaky and fresh and firm! The wine was amazing and the price was too. Loved this place.
We have no Spanish but waiter was great. He brought out all the seafood and named it in Spanish for us. We had clams, razor clams and bacilao, all magnificent. Have had much less good bacilao in Santiago this was just right. Highly recommended for food and service
First thing, they open at 8.30! You can tell that this place has lots and lots of regulars and that is because the food is excellent, especially the fish and seafood. The people who work at this family owned business have been there forever. Good value for money and if you talk in Spanish it will help. We had a great meal
