A Casa Dos Pasteis - Ourém

If you like pastry then you have to taste this incredible tasty pastry, and try to eat just one as I could not satisfy myself with just one.

We travelled to Fatima early morning from Lisbon so after we arrived we found this cafe opened. There was good choice of local pastry cakes which we bought after the lady who served us said these are local specialities and they tasted yummy. For two cakes (different) we paid Eur 2.40, for cappuccino Eur2 and milky coffee Eur1.30. There are toilets, very clean, in the basement of the building. Recommend to make a stop for quick refreshment.

It was truly a hidden gem in between the small mall. The stall is unassuming but the tarts tasted great! We went back the next day to buy 10 pieces to bring back to Singapore! My kids claim that they taste better than any tarts sold in Singapore.

Wonderful hidden place!! You need to enter into a little mall to find it. The pastries were delicious Try the coconut bun!

This little gem is located in a small mall between the bus station in Fatima and the Basilica. Right hand side heading towards bus station. All we needed was a quick sandwich and pastry. Not disappointed at all the fare was well priced and tasty. Enjoy...
