The waitress spo... read more This was really a good experience. We made a reservation shortly before arrival and ended up n an empty restaurant which was filled up rapidly. The waitress spoke very good English, explains everything about the Portuguese kitchen, helped pick a good regional wine for a nice price and was very friendly. Service was quick, food, was great. Our tips: carpaccio of Polvo, octopus, and tuna.

A Botica has style, a relaxed atmospher... read more There are plenty good restaurants in Portugal but it is great when you find an unusual jewel in a small town like Ourem. A Botica has style, a relaxed atmosphere, efficient service and great food. One of the few restaurants in the central region where you see music being played. Controlled temperature, spacious and elegant. Food presentation is excellent and quantities enough to share. Good selection of meat and fish dishes. Good wine offer although my first choice was not available. Not cheap but still good value for money. Definitely will return.
