The Chef at the time was super sweet and taught us how to prepare a real lamb Tajine with preserved lemons and olives. Make sure to pack both light and warmer clothes to enjoy day trips in the sunny hot valley, as well as colder mornings and evenings at the inn, especially as the rooms as not very well insulated.
We really enjoyed our stay here, and the photos don't do the views justice, it really is incredible. We did a couple of the excursions which we thought were great (nature walk and mule trek) and I would definitely come back for the location alone. The site overall is very peaceful, beautiful (lovely plants, flowers etc) and relaxing. The food unfortunately lets it down a little. It's not great for vegetarians and the breakfast is quite plain. Also the rooms whilst generally nice, do feel a bit outdated. It's definitely more rustic than it is luxury.
