We started with calamari and mussels in white wine sauce, both of which were delicious.

The fish and chips were by far the worst... read more We stopped this restaurant while we were in Oughterard. The staff was very attentive for which this place gets 2 stars. The fish and chips were by far the worst we had, although the portion size was generous. They were very tasteless. We left most of our foods, then the staff asked us if everything was okay. Since we didn't want to hurt their feelings, we were nice, paid and gone. If we were to come back in the future, we would probably try something else. Because what it's worth was the beer great.

The bartenders and waiters were so kind. Everyone worked together and they even talked to us while we waited for drinks and food. Large bar and a nice wine selection. Both our meals were tasteful and very good. You had live music when we left what was a nice add-on. It was definitely family and couple friendly. Very mixed group of people and it worked well. I would highly recommend!
