Great atmosphere, excellent staff and exceptional food/drink. Being heavily vegan in Ireland, I often have to make concessions. Not so, with this place. The potato appetizer ball was delicious and the Shepard vegetable cake was enormous. View all feedback.

We stopped this restaurant while we were in Oughterard. The staff was very attentive for which this place gets 2 stars. The fish and chips were by far the worst we had, although the portion size was generous. They were very tasteless. We left most of our foods, then the staff asked us if everything was okay. That was my favorite place of our whole trip. This place was so sweet. We had a nice place near a fireplace. Seats were comfortable. The bartenders and waiters were so kind. Everyone worked together and they even talked to us while we waited for drinks and food. Large bar and a nice wine selection. Both our meals were tasteful and very good. You had live music when we left what was a nice add-on. It was definitely family and couple friendly. Very mixed group of people and it worked well. I would highly recommend!
Food is very good. Atmosphere is noisy but fun and lively. Service by wait staff is pretty slow so just expect to wait.
Accidentally saw this on our way back from Kylemore Abbey. So glad we stopped for a drink here. The food was so amazing and staff was great. Will definitely stop by here again next time I'm in Ireland.
The most amazing food in this picturesque little restaurant. Excellent food, Lammeintopf was amazing! We all ordered something different and a meal was better than the others. Definitely worth the stop!
Oh. my. Word. This is by far the most amazing food I have had in Ireland so far!! I had a hard time choosing between all of the dishes because they all looked so amazing! It was recommended by a local and we couldn't be happier we chose this spot!! I had the spicy chorizo mussels and I have never in my life had better mussels. I ate every single one and my gf did also! She got the lemongrass and coconut milk mussels. It was so amazing she forgot her wine!! A MUST GO!!!!!
