The mea... read more The evening started off with an Apero served outside by the riverside. We then moved into the restaurant and were able to chose from the extensive menu. The meals all arrived together and the service was excellent. It was particularly nice that the service staff knew who had ordered what and were therefore able to serve with the minimum if fuss. The food was well presented and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

The first visit, a couple of years ago, was for dinner when we enjoyed succulent steaks. The last two visits were for lunch. Last year we sat outside by the river and really enjoyed the apple fritters for desert. This last week we went again for lunch. The restaurant was very busy and the service was superb. We had a baby with us this time, and were made to feel very comfortable. Two of us had the loin cutlets which were beautifully cooked, and my husband enjoyed the liver dish. We had vegetable bouillon and a fresh green salad for starters. We all had the apple fritters for dessert and loved them!On our next visit we will surely go back to this restaurant.

We were happy a... read more We came to Reussbrücke for coffee and ice cream. They have a good variety of desserts. I had the coupe Denmark, my wife fried vanilla ice cream. We were happy about our food and also liked the style of the restaurant.

Overall impression is average. Food is more or less OK, but nothing special. Prices are OK. Service personnel is friendly and made the evening there a bit better. Wine card is good and not too expensive. We went with family and kids.It was OK, but it is not the place where i would return. In the summer could be better as there is a garden service just at the river. When we went it was winter and the outside facilities were closed. I had the gourmet menu whit venison, good but not gorurmet!

After a period of overpriced menus the restaurant has come back to reasonable standards. The dishes are truly excellent, and you can also have smaller portions. The service is friendly again. Nice garden in summer, and a wintergarten for the cooler periods.
