I was impressed with the selection of beers on tap - for a small town it was impressive to have at least 10 different beers on tap (some locally brew). The food was excellent- the Curry Poutine was innovative and excellent combination of a fusion of different flavours. Thank you for the experience! View all feedback.
What Jon Hernándes doesn't like about The Mill Tavern:
Mid afternoon on a Sunday. Football crowd was there. Only one server and she was very nice but busy. We ordered the fish tacos and the baked Mac cheese. Tacos were disappointing at best. Tortilla with a heavily breaded fish filet, a few vegetables...and something that resembled ranch dressing. Tasted like a McDonald’s Filet-o-fish burger. The Mac Cheese was decent with seasoned shredded chicken mixed in. It reminded... View all feedback.

We were sitting beside you the night of the plate mishap. You were extremely rude to the server and you actions were inappropriate. You made it sound like the end of the world because the meal didn’t fit the plate and from what I could...see it was a huge over reaction. the whole Resturant could here your obnoxious voice and felt very sorry for the lovely server that acted very professional considering how you treated her. My friends, my wife and I love going to the Mill Tavern and will continue to go because the service and food are both excellent.
We both had the fish and chips. Compared to The Cheshire Cat which we rate at a 8 of 10, The Mill Tavern fish and chips would be at best 3 out of 10. It would take a lot to have us return to The...Mill Tavern.
Our family ordered collection for a lot of menu items (mac)
This tavern is cozy and comfortable, with a spacious outdoor terrace that would be perfect in the summertime. We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm, and there were clear COVID protocols in place with spaced out tables. Our server, Gabby, greeted us warmly and quickly took our drink orders from their extensive selection of beers on tap. Gabby was helpful in accommodating one of our party members who had allergies. We ordered wings and nachos, with the wings being good but the nachos arrived lukewarm and unappetizing. It was a bit disappointing, but we would consider returning to fully enjoy the terrace.
