Takeout King - Ottawa

This is the best dining experience in Ottawa. I came from Toronto and Take King is like a hidden gem that I discovered.

You have to try this restaurant! The mango smoothie was incredibly refreshing, and the BBQ chicken was perfectly juicy. Every dish I tried off the menu was both affordable and delicious. The customer service at this restaurant is top-notch. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat. I rate it 5/5.

I purchased some iftar boxes and 2 haleem dishes from this restaurant. The iftar boxes were priced at $7.99 each, and the haleem was $6.99 each. However, when I opened the boxes, I found that the portions were very small and not worth the price. Additionally, the food had no taste at all. It seemed like they were skimping on salt to save costs. The starters had no salt and the chickpeas in the haleem tasted bland as if they had just been cooked without any seasoning. It was disappointing to see such low quality food with no meat in it. It felt like a bland soup with no flavor. Overall, it was a waste of time and money.

Ordered the whole chicken and was surprised to receive a succulent, spicy, and slightly sweet delight (think tandoori with a hint of bbq)! A true gem of a find offering great value and an extensive menu of mouth-watering items we’re looking forward to checking out.
