Sam's Pizza - Ottawa

A slice of cake could almost count as lunch for me. The stuffed pizza I had, topped with a crispy crust and sauce, reminded me of a giant calzone. Since I was in Chicago, I knew I had to try a Chicago-style pizza. I asked a local for recommendations, and without hesitation, they told me to head to Sam's Pizza! I would definitely return and bring friends to help tackle one of those pizzas. The staff were all very friendly, and my pizza was prepared quickly and brought to my table right away. When the air has the aroma of pizza, it feels like Sam Devine.

I had the pizza at Rindseller! I live in Rockford and I love hiking, and every time I'm at Starved Rock, I have to stop by Sam's place. I've been a loyal customer since 2007, and I hope to continue doing so for many years to come.
