Four of us booked here for dinner on Saturday night. We had booked a booth which is the right choice if you are meeting to have a chat. We were shown to our table quickly and a waiter appeared right away to take our drinks order. The menu is varied and interesting. The steak was rated as very good. What Norm W doesn't like about Milestones Grill + Bar - Ottawa - Sussex:
New owners with a disappointing result. Steak sandwich not as pictured or described by the waitress but smothered in an overpowering sauce to hide the chewy meat. The Caesar was NOT as described as their original that had roasted garlic shaved parmesan. They did not have many items nor the dessert presented in their specific email ad. Ate at a milestones before but this venue not as good. Saw a review from a couple of weeks ago no peach Bellini due to machine broken. Still the same still broken. I had booked as a birthday meal and was in the day was told free dessert then after meal, server asked if we wanted dessert? Spouse said no. I would have taken mine to go but no offer of one. Will not return to this location.
Milestones is my favourite restaurant and has always been for many years.
Right from the start the service was great,we got a nice table in a corner. Our server Chad was absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient, great suggestions and beautiful smile. Food was served at a good pace, without us feeling rushed.
Our server was friendly and enthusiastic food was tasty.
I was dissapointed when I heard that the bellini machine was broken as it is my favorite drink but the experience was wonderful nonetheless.
