**A Tale of Two Mexican Restaurants: Authenticity vs. Disappointment**
In the vibrant dining landscape, two Mexican restaurants emerge as polar opposites. One, branded as authentic, disappoints patrons with bland, overpriced food reminiscent of fast-food chains rather than traditional fare. Diners lament the lack of flavor and essential condiments, dubbing it unsatisfactory.
In stark contrast, Esther's shines as a cherished gem in Ottawa, celebrated for its genuine, homemade cuisine that evokes memories of a grandmother's kitchen. Customers rave about the quality and warmth of service, particularly savoring the enchiladas and $1 tacos. For those seeking true Mexican flavors, Esther's firmly establishes itself as a must-visit destination.

Real tacos.real tamales. The sweetest lady's.gave me what they ate for lunch.amazing.
I was very disappointed and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone or try it again. The food was bland and dry, and the amount of meat in the tacos was minimal for the high price. Honestly, I would have preferred Taco Bell over this. It just didn’t feel authentic at all.
For a $13 burrito, I expected much more than what I could get from the dollar menu at Taco Bell. I was also disappointed that no hot sauce or mild sauce was included—I've never ordered from a Mexican restaurant that didn't provide at least one of those. It's the little things like this that really set Mexican restaurants apart. Overall, I found it very unsatisfactory.
Horrible!!! It’s advertised as authentic but shame on them. They used bagged chips, canned liquid cheese, cheap meat, and bagged lettuce for the nachos. We ate half of it because it was all that we had but I feel sick to my stomach now. Shame on them. I think the people posting that it’s authentic or even quality food must be their friends and family.
