This village is in construction and therefore there is a lot of noise around, traffic the road really close and very noisy not included. What Tui and Nordic Tours have thought about booking this place for our vacation two nights! is a complete secret for me and is still. Although the staff in the restaurant is really nice, the place is not a holiday hotel, only for a quick accommodation. The hotel is very simple, and since it has not much to do in Otta, we felt compelled to eat there too. The food buffet was nothing but ok, but very expensive. The price NOK 350! not offered on quality and variety. We ate at a table in a very sad conference room. As I said, there was nothing else nearby, so there was no choice. Breakfast was also ok, but fortunately it was included. It looked like we had room in the new one? Part of the hotel, but it was not very modern. There was no wallet near the bed actually used my power bank and that gave the hotel an 80's feeling. The beds were small, but okay. It was very warm in the rooms, although not outside. There was no airco, so you had to open the windows. I'm referring to the above mentioned void outside. The rooms were funny more reason to open a window, and our bathroom room was not very clean. The bathroom was particularly dirty. Between the floor tiles the joints were black. The toilet seat was of extremely poor quality, but was also dirty. It seemed to be a red substance in the soap dispenser that we couldn't place blood? Lipstick? The positive reviews I read from this hotel are another great secret for me. These cannot be correct and cannot be real or sincere. This, with the smell, noise and the state of the room subtracted an additional star. We decided to use the hotel for what it means to leave a desperate night, and the next day. We didn't sleep well. The hotel was a great disappointment after the most unforgettable journey through the mountains of all time. Norway is excellent for a trip, but hotels like these have a real negative impact on the entire experience. The Nespresso coffee machine could improve the experience. We left very tired and with a depressed feeling of disappointment.

The breakfast buffet was rather vegan alternatives. (Don hotels in other places were better at this front, but I guess in a small village like this they don't even expect tourists to be vegan.... Not sincerely bad in any way, but I also did not find that it is value for money (as it is quite simple and gives a somewhat worn widow and most likely would not stay again.
