Il Mirto - OTRANTO

During the stay at the residence I dined twice at Mirto , in the menu there are various pity dishes that the fillets or some desserts are not available on Saturday!!!! For what I tasted food is good and fresh but prices seem to me higher than average. They'd like to go to a high-level restaurant, but they're on average.

For 7 years we come on holiday at the residence Altair with restaurant Mirto. The first year so so but, from the second year OTTIMO both fish and meat

We were eating in this restaurant the first evening of our holiday in Salento. Let's start from the positive thing, the dishes are not bad, rather special recipes but good dishes, little choice in the menu but well made, normal portions tending to the drain though. I can't say I've eaten badly, but everything else is, at least, forgotten. Let's start with the fact that I don't hate cats but in a restaurant I don't want to see them, here are 3/4 stray cats running through the tables. If you stick to a restaurant of a certain level you can not put paper towels and put to serve and take orders of the kids (the idea is good, indeed, it is very beautiful, but you must have an expert figure that you guide them). To conclude, I cannot say that I ate badly, but surely that I ate little, with an unsuitable service, at a rather high price. Cherry on the cake a dirty glass, promptly replaced, and hair in the dish (but, my fault, I didn't say anything because I just wanted to finish the dinner and go to eat something else). We're definitely not going back.

Not comparable to the structure in which it is inserted. modest, modestly made recipes, discreet wines. contained prices. courteous service with some difficulty of communication because the foreign staff

A sauce pasta (a tomato pass that is easier you can not and a steak €44. Drink a beer and a cola. Poor quality and price too high. We went the first night of stay then it's enough. Breakfast is also available: €10 per person.
