This is our favorite sushi spot if you like a twist. We made reservations and even brought our 3-week old baby in his stroller. They sat us in the patio and were very accommodating on a busy Valentine's Day evening. View all feedback.
What Ochopato doesn't like about Sushi Nikkei:
The food was good, but not great. Anything requiring a sear tasted of butane from the blowtorch used. The most disappointing part of the meal was the service. While we got everything we asked for, the staff wasn't very welcoming or engaged with us or the tables around us. Overall, the experience was fine, but there are better options for the money. This was very delicious high in price for the portions. The one turnoff was the appetizer tostada at $14. With literally only a small portion of salad, it's just 4 tortilla chips with tiny tasty greens. I almost fainted when I paid $28 for 8 pieces of chips with greens on top. Other than that, the food was good. Would go back again. Oh yea, the service was great too!

Excellent for special occasions or intimate date night. All the flavors are so
One of the best restaurants in Long Beach for Peruvian, style, seafood, ceviche, and Sushi. Family owned and operated with a friendly vibe and amazing service.
Unique take on sushi. Great flavors and very fresh. My server was very attentive and explained all the dishes I asked about.
