Our server was very attentive but I don't remember his name. We started with oysters and fried calamari for appetizers; the oysters were fresh and the breading of the calamari was slightly burnt but the calamari was tender and not over-cooked. For our entrees, we had the lobster roll, grilled salmon and the shrimp boil. Everything was tasty. I would recommend The Big Catch if you're looking for a nice simple place fo... View all feedback.
What Adriana Pedraza doesn't like about Stinkin Crawfish Of Long Beach:
Food was good, but the experience with the service ruined the whole thing. We came in a group of 5, not the busiest time, we have to wait 45 min for our orders come to the table and when we got them they were all wrong, they correct their mistake 20 min after and still we had one of the orders missing!! they brought the missing order by the time the rest of us were about to finish. Total wait 1:30 min. View all feedback.
A Hidden Gem in Downtown Long BeachAs a Bay Area native, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this absolute gem of a restaurant. Came in to try and eat but was told there was only 1 server and they were not taking anyone else. Who owns a business not properly staffed? You have tables open but won’t sit people. Don’t waste your time here. The last thing you want to do is drive all the way over here for them to tell you sorry we are not taking anyone else. Very unprofessional!!Response: I am sorry but that is incorrect she clearly declined service. We walked in and she stated I am not seating anyone anymore I just got a party of 12. I said there are two empty tables next to each other can we just split the party and she said no she is the only one there and could not take us . I asked if that meant she is not taking anyone any more and if a party of two walked in you would not take them? She said No she wouldn’t because she is the only server. So please do not insinuate that I am lying or misheard because I asked two different times just to make sure I understood what she was saying.
They are Asian owned or managed soExplains the racism/colorism … my food was already ready and she literally could not be bothered to come check me out ……on top of all that the cook in the back literally opened my bag and poured some of my shrimp out …. I which I’ve expect from Asian folks towards darker indigneouse folks …
Visiting from Chicago and wanted seafood. The Manager John was phenomenal, his attentiveness was top notch. Krystal R was our server, she was polite and pleasant. The food was fresh and filling. I would suggest making adjustments when the product and market value doesn't match. Other than that, I will definitely return my next visit in October.
If you are into low country boils, they do it right. A little disappointing that it comes in plastic bags but it had great taste. I had the shrimp and crawfish with the house sauce. Very delicious. The sausage was overcooked and very small portions but good none the less.Highly recommended
