Unfortunately, when I visited the McDonald's restaurant in my neighborhood, I had a very negative experience. Not only were the staff very rude when I tried to place an order, they also refused to bring our food to the table. When I placed my order I was greeted by a member of staff who clearly didn't want to serve me. He had a grumpy expression on his face and seemed annoyed when I placed my order. When I asked him if he could bring my food to the table, he declined, saying it wasn't their policy. I was disappointed with the staff member's response and couldn't understand why they couldn't help me bring my food to the table. Eventually I paid for it and I think it's reasonable to expect service to bring the food to the table. When we received our order I was disappointed that it was only served in a plastic basket with no option for plates and cutlery. We had to take care of it ourselves and it felt awkward as we had to use our hands to hold our food. The food itself was OK but nothing special. It seemed like it was prepared quickly with no care or attention to detail. But the biggest problem was that the staff was even more rude when we left our place. No one said goodbye or said goodbye to us. It's a shame that the staff seem so disinterested in the work they're doing. There was no attempt to welcome us or help us when we had questions. That's just not what I expect from a service-oriented company like McDonald's. In addition, I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the packaging. When I received my burgers and fries they were already cold and appeared to have just been thrown in the wrapper. There was no care to ensure the food was fresh and hot when served. In addition, the plastic packaging that the food was served in was very uncomfortable as it was noisy and didn't feel good. Another problem I had was that there was no option to bring my food to the table. I paid for it and it seems only fair that the service would bring the food straight to the table. I understand that McDonald's is a self-service restaurant, but I think the service should be a little bit more to ensure customers have an enjoyable experience. Overall, my experience at McDonald's was disappointing. The service was unfriendly, the food was of poor quality and the packaging was uncomfortable. If I'm honest I wouldn't go back and I would advise other people not to go there. I hope that the store management will address these issues and take action to improve the quality of service so that future customers can have a better experience.
