A renovated Italian restaurant in a thatched-roof traditional Japanese house. The attention to detail in the furnishings and lighting is excellent, creating a very cozy atmosphere. The food is creative Italian cuisine using local ingredients, and we had the course menu this time. Each dish was unique and delicious, with beautiful presentation. The special reopening price was very reasonable, much better value than dining in Ginza or Aoyama. It's a bit far from the city center, but worth a drive to visit. A truly wonderful restaurant - I will definitely be back.
Last October, when I went on a little trip to Oodawara, I searched for a nice restaurant and decided to stop by. I was worried about the opening hours, but unfortunately they were fully booked and we couldn't get in. I realized it must be popular and gave up, but I was impressed when the staff bowed deeply and saw us off to our car until we left. I remember that the shop could provide good customer service, so I decided to make a special trip to visit Uno-san this time. It was worth the effort to come all the way here. Inside the restaurant, there were impressive beams, and the atmosphere was bright, clean, and calm, unlike the image outside. The food was delicately plated and tasted delicious, with wonderful care from the staff. The last dessert was selected from the course menu, but it was a luxurious plating with everything included. However, I won't post pictures of the food as a pleasant surprise for those who visit. My family and I were full and satisfied both in our stomachs and hearts. I would love to come back again.
This is a flawless 5-star review. The atmosphere, service, and food at this restaurant are in perfect harmony. It is the number one recommended Italian restaurant in the area! The appearance of the old traditional house and the pleasant gap felt when entering are both delightful. Each table has fresh flowers, the interior design does not emphasize the air conditioning, and there is heating at your feet. Every detail shows thoughtfulness. We had lunch this time, and the content was not in line with the price – we left feeling very satisfied with the value and impressed! The menu, which focuses on using local and regional ingredients, is truly admirable. I really love and support this kind of restaurant. Every dish was good, but I was particularly surprised by the Japanese-style consommé soup. The taste and soup that burst into my mouth after biting into the pasta, which was like ravioli with cheese inside, were a perfect match. The dessert also combines Japanese and Western ingredients, adding to the overall satisfaction of the course. I indulged in the joy of tasting delicious food. Due to the layout, you can see the kitchen as soon as you enter, which in a way, adds to the cleanliness of the place. Everything is on full display. On our way out, I couldn't help but express my gratitude to the chef. Oh my, I will definitely come back when the course menu changes.
