Miyuki Howick - Otahuhu

I don’t go to Howick often, don’t think I’d have found this place if I didn’t subscribe to Zomato Gold or if they weren’t one of the Zomato Gold Partners! <br/ <br/ Absolutely happy with their food and service, especially the Large Sashimi Platter and Grilled Scallop Nigiri! They are very generous in their sashimi cut, very thick cut and fresh. So glad we ordered 6pcs of Grilled Scallop Nigiri instead of 3pcs to share between 3 of us... only 1pc each defo not enough! If Green Tea is your cup of tea then make sure you try their Green Tea ice cream as well, it’s not one of those fake milky slightly green tea flavoured ice cream, it’s full of green tea flavour while isn’t too sweet.<br/ <br/ Will definitely go back to Miyuki again!

First time to visit this restaurant for lunch during the weekend. It was almost full when we arrived.<br/ <br/ The waitress was attentive to bring us the menu and a jug of water and cups.<br/ We ordered the sirloin steak, teriyaki chicken, pork katsu and chicken katsu with egg.<br/ Meal comes with an appetiser, miso soup, a deep fried fish katsu and a cream puff.<br/ <br/ Good portion, taste was good. The katsu was crunchy. Medium rare for the Sirloin and the sauce complimented nicely.<br/ <br/ Overall we were satisfied with the meal and will come back to try other dishes next time.

Used Zomato gold on the lunch menu. Had salmon teriyaki n the portion was tiny.

I’ve always walked by this restaurant not knowing how much of a hidden gem it is.<br/ Regret not giving it a go sooner!<br/ Prices are good, the photos I took were my top three. <br/ Definitely save some room for green tea ice cream, it’s so good. <br/ <br/ Interested in coming back and trying different dishes.

Great place tucked away on the corner of a road up in howick. Probably one of the better Japanese places in the area. Highly recommend the rainbow roll although a bit smaller than it looks on the menu its beautifully prepared and tastes delicious! They make good tempura and udon and the service is usually pretty fast.
