Food: 5/5<br/ Ambiance: 4.5/5<br/ Service: 5/5<br/ <br/ Came for a late lunch therefore the cafe is fairly empty. We sat at the back by the massive windows looking at the back of Kingsland, i would say they did the place very neatly, however a little cold.<br/ <br/ Ordered mushroom on toast with a side of scrambled eggs. Might say one of the best mushroom on toast i've ever tried! It was creamy, cheesy but still a bit firm.. such a <br/ <br/ Bonus, the owner/chef was super friendly (considering it was the end of brunch service when we came, he must be exhausted! and made us feel welcome.. let us stay for a little longer to admire the view : <br/ <br/ Will definitely recommend to others
A cute little french cafe in Kingsland with a well lit sun room at the back with a view over Sandringham Road..<br/ <br/ I loved the eggs benedict perfectly poached eggs and delicious Hollandaise sauce. <br/ The Galettes was an interesting twist on a conventional breakfast and was a generously sized meal!<br/ We had a french pudding too made of blended croissants served with a dollop of cream. It was quite an understated dessert but nice. <br/ <br/ A cool spot to hang out.. :
Went yesterday and was very surprised at how good the food was, so delicious and flavorsome. Was so good that I took my granddaughter and daughter today, they really enjoyed the food too. Looking forward to going again.
Truly the staff here are a delight, funny and pleasant and serious about their food. And they’re open Thursday, Friday Saturday nights til late. Gorgeous crepes, galettes and the croque madame is delicious!! We have to try everything on the menu!
