We started with the crab cake for our appetizer, and it definitely met our expectations. It was handmade and absolutely delicious. I ordered the oyster po' boy, and the oysters were cooked to perfection. My husband had the fried catfish, which was thin, crispy, and fantastic. I was quite hungry when I visited, so I found the food to be satisfactory. I ordered the seafood platter, and while the oysters were on the tough side, I admit I requested them to be crispy. The catfish was very thin and resembled crunchy fish chips more than a traditional fillet. The fried shrimp was delicious, toast was soggy and fried had no taste.
I've been trying to call, but all I get is a recorded message stating that they're closed due to the pandemic and will update the message once a month. It's really disappointing because I love this little spot.
The food was fantastic with generous portions and great prices. I will definitely return. The staff was very friendly as well.
