Came on to do more of my usual post holiday reviews and was surprised to see all the negatives about this cafe. It wasn't our experience at all. We stopped at Ustuni to explore before driving on to our hotel on the outskirts and came across this cafe with its beautiful location so decided to stop for a coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. Our cakes and coffees were really good, specially the pasticciotto. We also... View all feedback.
What 770callat doesn't like about Caffe' Trieste:
This is a fantastic location. However, the friendliness of the staff was entirely non-existent. We initially ordered an Aperol Spritz and they seemed cross we were not ordering food. When we asked for a menu, they were slightly less hostile. None of the staff made any effort to smile and the main guy in charge was outright rude. I would avoid this place at all costs. It is outrageously expensive and the clientele on... View all feedback.
Very good ice cream, for correctness and for honesty, but. the pos did not work but nothing or no one has, in advance reported the disservice. the lord to the cashier has never smiled, nor thanked and much less greeted to my ocita after paying the bill. at the bottom of months to bring these boring and intrusive tourists, you could tolerate a little better. Explained, I think, the vote.
After a long search of places to stop at dinner we decided to ask this bar/pizzeria if there was availability for people. They immediately told us that we should have pizza to sit down...... accepted condition. we were hosted and immediately followed by the staff, meanwhile we were able to see the scorbuticita with which the other possible guests of the bar/pizzeria were welcomed and conditioned. they had to eat or they could go to another coffee indicated by the same owner of the club. outside the premises there is a sign on which all the foods we could choose as chips, crêpes and so on. we chose to order crepes but could not take it to us since the kitchen was closed. a full room with a closed kitchen is absurd. In the end we asked, for a one year child, the courtesy of heating the milk, but the owner denied us the thing. it was enough to put the bottle under the steam of the coffee machine, instead of heating the bottle inside the microwave oven as he had thought to make the master, instead it denied also this. as if we were hunted by another mother, finally a bottle of water salad in euro. goto pizza as from expectations from an electric oven, acceptable.
I see a lot of unusual reviews but my experience was OK. Staff fine, service quick no problems. Thank you Team Caffè Trieste
I have never posted a bad review but this place is awful food wasn’t as per menu, terrible and expensive. Avoid at all costs simply takes advantage of its location.
Too expensive. One Spritz is 10 euro. We are travelling around south Italy in the last two days and no where we sat, the spritz was that price. No good service and even put you sit on a specific table depending on what you prefer to eat or to drink. I would not recomment this place.
