We were guests at the monastery, which was beautiful. On the day of arrival the gift simply had no reason, a day later we were told in the monastery that we could eat there. We wanted to, we said we had to be there at 6:00. We just wait for you! was the lousy welcome and immediately was asked what we want to drink and whether we want coffee later, because otherwise she would clean the coffee machine. The light was on... Nice place for a break during a hike or bicycle tour Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We drove to St. Marienthal Monastery on 30.10.22 and booked a tour. We were there an hour before the start of the tour and wanted to bite and drink at Klosterschenke. Unfortunately, that was not possible. It began with the fact that not even a hell of a hell answered by a greeting, the question whether we should put a chair on the table was rather merciful and short bound. After that we were simply ignored for 20 minutes, side tables were deleted, drinks taken at the neighboring table, guests were in cash - only we were overlooked. After the 20 minutes we finally realized that we wouldn't get anything before the tour, not even a drink. So we left the place, about quality and price of food, so I can't make an assessment. The star is just because you have to forgive one. The only positive thing: The monastery itself and the tour of Mrs Beata Bykowska were great! Conclusion: We look forward to coming back to the monastery and thank you for visiting Klosterschenke.
Nice location, cozy guest room, but unfortunately the food totally disappointing. Once and not again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Info: Regrettably open only half an hour later (11:30)
We would have liked to have taken something to us in this idyllic situation. But obviously you have NO interest in guests. That in the guest room our dog would not have been desired is completely fine, the weather was great, so we would have taken place outside. I don't serve outside today; was the pampy answer. I have to give the one star...
