The flavor just isn’t right—there’s no... read more If you’ve ever tasted lechon from a lechonera in Puerto Rico, you’ll quickly realize this isn’t the authentic experience. The flavor just isn’t right—there’s not enough black pepper, cilantro, or seasoning overall. I’m confident in my ability to cook and season meats, and this dish was lacking the true taste of lechon. The rest of the food was decent, but if you're promoting yourselves as a lechonera, I encourage you to work on your seasoning. With better seasoning, you won’t need the mojo dip, and I’m sure you’ll attract more customers. I’ll give you another chance in the future, and I hope you take my advice to heart. I genuinely want to see you improve beyond your current offerings. Give it a shot; I’m sure you won’t regret it. Best of luck!

I was expecting a genuine Lechonera with crispy pork skin and spit-roasted pig, but this place didn't deliver any of that. Instead, it was just a grilled pig chopped into pieces. The skin was rubbery, the marinade wasn't impressive, and some of the meat was very dry and overcooked. The side dishes were limited to just rice, making the whole meal quite boring. I can see how some might enjoy the marinade, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of just 1.

I ordered a... read more I finally visited this restaurant after driving by it every day in a hurry to get home. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs along with yellow rice and beans. I’m definitely planning to return to try more dishes from the menu and enjoy the live music!
