Osteen Diner

For many, many years come to Ostend Diner and provide a great breakfast or lunch. No bad meal here and staff service is always great.

Having heard good things about this place (and sharing our last name) we finally managed to make it over and give the Osteen Diner a try. I will start by saying the hype was well deserved. Their menu is quite substantial ranging in everything from breakfast thru dinner including a fried seafood section and over 15 different appetizers to choose from. We came for the breakfast and were not disappointed. My wifes corned beef hash was perfect and i really wanted to try their 11 oz country fried steak which was very filling and cooked well. The breading wasnt too much and the steak wasnt too thin but just a nice balance of both. They even do a good sausage gravy with a nice thickness and real sausage. By noon this place was already filling up and i can see why. I will diffidently be going back to try other things on the menu but as a first impression i would easily recommend this place as a fantastic diner with good homestyle food.

This is a family owned dinner with good food and attentive staff that seems to be a favorite for locals and travelers alike. The fish and chips was heavily yet flavorfully battered and the portion sizes were gigantic. The dinner was very crowded, yet added to the local hang out style atmosphere, while not being overly noisy.

Such a quaint, home style restaurant with plenty of seating in country atmosphere. Parking is abundant as well. Waitstaff is so friendly fast and very attentive! The menu has a lot to offer the specials are always a delicious addition. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WONDERFUL DINER!
