After waiting for more than an hour for our food, we couldn't help but wonder if the restaurant was going out to harvest chickens from the egg phase. Despite the extensive chicken menu, we ended up sharing our son's melty puffs with the table, as our chicken still hadn't arrived by the end of the meal. Overall, it's a good venue for dinner, but I recommend ordering closer to lunch time. View all feedback.
Yesterday after a recommendation visited by a friend, eating was served very hot, huge portions (and we can eat) and was really good value. we're coming back!
A good old friendly pub selling fine ales by ossett brewery . good eating and a friendly atmosphere with the occasional live music performance.

Best mixed grill you will ever have, great atmosphere, great service and the landlord is even better
Great beer, well kept, Brian knows his ale! Always a good selection on, White Rat is a fave!
