Very large restored building with a microbrewery on site. Wide selection of tap/drill beer including resurrected Walter's by Eau Claire. Large food portions are waiting at reasonable prices in togo containers, so no need to ask when leaving. Grilled meats were delicious. The hotel is located directly on a snowmobile trail for easy access. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Northwoods Brewpub:
Did you notice the pull-out boxes? They brought in our food. I don't think plates are too much to ask when you pay for a meal. Or order a server instead of the bar. Or a ketchup bottle instead of packages. Simply sticky and disappointing for a place that could be better. But they had good taste in music and the food was decent View all feedback.
We decided to go here as we had heard Bruce Larson was there singing. Absolutely no advertising that we could find. One bartender to serve too many people waited in line at least 10 minutes. You have an amazing venue, Northwoods! Use it, advertise your events, and your new brews.Food: 1/5
We sure enjoyed the live music on Friday evening. We had a nice porter beer and a mixed drink. The atmosphere was nice, and comfortable seating. All orders are placed at the bar for drinks and food. We ordered a pizza. It was okay but next time we would order something else. The crust texted was thin, reminded us of a graham cracker texture. The pizza sauce was very sweet.Great place to meet up with friends.

Went for Friday night fish.... Love the atmosphere.... Service wasn't great at ordering.... Food was burnt and tasted awful... We won't be back....Food: 1/5
It's a cool looking bar. Dont got here for the food. First off have a sign saying to order at the bar at each table. After I ordered at the bar. It took 40 min to get out food and it was lackluster for the price. We had a pizza that was just store bought crust. Meals with fries were like kid serving of fries. Everything is served in To go containers. No servers so no one even apologized for the wait on the food. Seems like 40min is not a big deal to them. Need more staff. You are your own server everytime you need a refill on your drink you need to go to the bar. They have online pay system set up but you cant even use it to order or pay your bill.
