Menu and wine tasting were excellent, as was the service. Anyone who appreciates modern open loft will feel comfortable all around.
Perfect menu composition, with surprising combinations. The wines complemented the flavors of the food and the service was very accommodating, but unobtrusive in the best sense. A perfect evening!!!
A perfect menu, running on a 2-star level! Every gang a signature dish. Randy de Jong in best form. He manages to dissolve the consciously set exciting accents in harmony and great pleasure, as his teacher Thomas Bühner in best times. Outstanding cabbage, cooked in the banana leaf, with cauliflower, banana and Tom Kha Gai. The carrot with lovage and mandarin, a colourful image, I would have taken it immediately in the “icey meat”. Murdered lamb neck with strawberry and asparagus was our favourite. And the pre-dessert(Feta, Sauerampfer, Honey and Dessert(Rhabarber,Koriander,Litschi were worthy of the “Coda”. Not to forget the first two courses: tuna, peach, Enoki-in simple simplicity ingenious, and the pickled seabow with black garlic (as paste, Umami alert! fermented radishes and blood oranges, une bouchée de gout! To this end, the loving, uncomplicated but, of course, competent service of Thayarni Garthoff and Philipp Strobl, with a well-tuned wine tour and ever-increasing wine map (with an extensive 82 Bordeaux selection). And Milan is always allowed, our star experienced dog as last with Jan Hartwig.
