I had a terrible experience at this sushi restaurant in Oslo. It was the worst sushi I've ever had in the city. The rolls had no flavor and the salmon tasted strange, almost like it was old. My friend and I both got sick with diarrhea after eating here. I would suggest staying away from this place.
From the sushi we have had in Oslo this is one of the bests I've had, tempura are excellent, in general I will say it's worth to visit and go back :
Located in the center of town, this takeout spot is popular among young customers. However, one major issue is the manager, who handles everything from taking orders to delivering drinks to putting together food orders, without washing his hands. During my visit, he was visibly ill, wiping his face and blowing his nose around each order. Although the woman preparing the sushi wore gloves, the cleanliness of the counter was questionable. I would recommend dining elsewhere.
We tried a Familiemeny1 and there are 60 sushi in total. It is good for sharing among 4 friends and we have a great time here!
Only a block from the Radisson Blu Scandinavia hotel at Holbergs gate, this very popular local sushi take away (there are a few tables for eating in, too) offers incredibly fresh and well made sushi at bargain prices. They are very friendly, and speak a little English! The food itself was really excellent for the price. The salmon based items were particularly good, as you might expect in a Scandinavian country! If you are looking for a quick meal at an affordable price with first class ingredients, you can't go wrong here. Be prepared to wait for a few minutes the place is always humming with students!
