Chez Colin - Oslo

Revisited Feb 23 ': Menu is the same as in Feb '22, so not much to add on the cuisine side but that the presentation of the foie gras starter is amended a tiny bit, to the better in the reviewers opinion. Very pleasant waiter, the north-west guy gave us a food and drink experience. This time we went through some bigger bottles, magnum and double magnum, which were good buys, please see photos for detail. Revisited Feb 22 ': Prices have increased even further, without any other attributes having been improved. Thus the qpr has decreased even more. Revisited 2021: High quality and authenticity bistro-resto, with a snug atmosphere and a respectable range of classics from the traditional French kitchen scene. Unfortunately inflation has paid the place a visit as well, deteriorating the qpr to an extent leaving the fourth star unbrooded. This was not the case two years back, when their menu de Noël was a speak of.

Easily the best restaurant in Oslo I've eaten at. For starters we got the gratinated chevre and tartare, both of which were incredible. For the main, we got the secrets iberico and the piggvar. Again, incredible. And for redusert, the apple tartelette with cardamom ice cream. Everything was perfect in taste, texture, and overall composition, and the service was also fantastic. Wonderful experience.

If you want a truly French dining experience, then you need to visit Chez Colin. From the moment you walk in, you will feel like you are in a different world. The decor is elegant and the staff is very professional. The menu is extensive and includes all of favorite French dishes. The food is absolutely amazing

What en evening we had last night! Great French restaurant in Oslo, food was delicious, we tried the foie berries and nuts… and the fish was unbelievable. But the best of this restaurant is the wine list! You have to see it to believe it… hundreds of different French wines all top choices. People attending the restaurant are very friendly and huge wine knowledge… romantic atmosphere, cozy almost like being in France
