Really great experience here for our first meal in oslo! the staff was so nice and friendly and helpful with the menu. we had lunch here and had the herings, maische and wurst and the roast beef. so delicious and the portions were generous. the bratbeef was the winner! so cozy inside with a fire!

We tried to find a simple but well made (without the price tag) local food in a beautiful environment for a birthday dinner and caffe can not be disappointed. a wonderful environment among the trees, would also be nice in winter. every dish was divine and the staff was fantastic. absolutely loved!

Had a Limoncello splasher, salmon star and a white fish similar to kayau. phenomenal quality, well presented, with each a little bit sky. in and out in an hour despite it with maximum capacity in free. reservation during the high season and time as they need to turn many away. the personal smile and very attentive. I took care of my nutritional restrictions and fluent in English.

Was a beautiful day in Oslo, so everyone was seated on the outside patio. Two very large umbrellas provided some shade, there was an outdoor bar and quite a few bench seating tables. A lunch menu was available til 4pm. Good selection of Norwegian inspired fare. Ordered open faced shrimp salad sandwich, creamy fish soup and chicken salad. My favorite of the 3 was the fish soup served with bread basket.

My family and our friends had an amazing dining experience here for our second night in Oslo. The location is beautiful with a nice view by the fort and the service was very attentive and quick. The atmosphere was very relaxing and casual. The food was IMPECCABLE. The menu changes depending on the day or week, but I am sure all of the options are amazing no matter what. Everything was absolutely amazing. My wolffish was delicious; it was the first time I tried it and I was blown away. The scallops with goat cheese were a fan favorite. The catch of the day, salmon, was cooked to perfection. The risotto was divine. I cannot recommend this restaurant more!! Definitely expensive (especially to us American tourists) but so so so worth it for a taste of Norwegian cuisine!
