I took care of my nutritional restrictions and fluent in English.

Two very large umbrellas provided some shade, there was an outdoor bar and quite a few bench seating tables. A lunch menu was available til 4pm. Good selection of Norwegian inspired fare. Ordered open faced shrimp salad sandwich, creamy fish soup and chicken salad. My favorite of the 3 was the fish soup served with bread basket.

The location is beautiful with a nice view by the fort and the service was very attentive and quick. The atmosphere was very relaxing and casual. The food was IMPECCABLE. The menu changes depending on the day or week, but I am sure all of the options are amazing no matter what. Everything was absolutely amazing. My wolffish was delicious; it was the first time I tried it and I was blown away. The scallops with goat cheese were a fan favorite. The catch of the day, salmon, was cooked to perfection. The risotto was divine. I cannot recommend this restaurant more!! Definitely expensive (especially to us American tourists) but so so so worth it for a taste of Norwegian cuisine!
