Hy-vee - Oskaloosa

The store itself is great. Great staff. Super nice and always helpful. The bakery is great, love the meat table and have always enjoyed the flower department. But the Deli is a different story. I don't like fast food, so if we're short on time, I'm trying to go to Deli for something near homemade and it's consistently terrible. Just today my husband took some potatoes and white Gravy. It tastes like a kind of chemical in it. It's terrible. I ordered Chinese a week ago and the rice was so dry that it was not even edible. A few months ago, I ordered an omelet and it was burned. So burned that I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Who would serve this? I'm done after today. I won't try again. It seems zero interest in serving good quality food and I will not eat there anymore.

We thought flowers were my aunt's birthday. We were very impressed by quality and price. The gala in the flower shop was super friendly. Thank you for what we needed at a great price and wonderful customer service!

Only used to drive the pharmacy. They are super friendly and especially Heather and those who supply my medication to my house!!!

It's nice, real cash in the registers. If it's obvious that you're new in the area, the employees ask if they can help you find something. Unfortunately, some things, everyone is out

Doesn't have as many options as Walmart, but they make it up with the specialty items. They offer a nice variety of some local vendors. I usually will shop here if I don't need anything other then groceries. As I mentioned they don't carry much other then food products. They do have a few cashiers on hand and have been adding in some self checkouts if you don't want to interact with a cashier. Overall, it is an excellent grocery store. They offer a variety of fresh produce and other food products. They even have a restaurant in store that does catering as well as serving food in store.
