Big Ed's Bbq - Oskaloosa

I absolutely love this place! The meat is fantastic, as you would expect, but the authentic recipes, like the real German potato salad, take it to the next level. I've been enjoying their ribs since they had a mobile stand across from Hardee's, and I have never been disappointed.

As the owner's son and future successor, I believe that good food is all we need to attract more customers. We just need more people to come in and enjoy what we have to offer.

I can make it 6 times a year after oskaloosa and always hold of big eds. I've never had such an incredible beef and veal basket sandwich before. it is the most moist, delicate tasteful meat. you have to try. try the red beans rice. not their normal version. the prices are also very reasonable. because of the consistently great brisket I have never tried.

I had an excellent BBQ meal at a reasonable price! I appreciate the way the food is prepared. For me, the atmosphere of the restaurant isn’t a priority; it's a bit too bright and simple, and it tends to be quiet when I visit. If I want to eat alone, I might as well do that at home. However, the staff is very friendly, and the service is impressively fast.
