Big Ed's Bbq - Oskaloosa

Where should we have dinner in Oskaloosa, Iowa? How could we go wrong with a name like "Big Ed's"? Well, we did - it was a disappointment.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The chicken was incredibly tasty and juicy, just falling apart with a fork. The German potato salad was absolutely delicious. The service was fast and the food was amazing. All four of us enjoyed our meal. The ribs were tender and moist, and the brisket was also moist and flavorful. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning the next time we are in town.

I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this restaurant was! My date and I decided to come here after seeing long lines at several other places, and I will definitely be returning. The menu is small, but the service is quick, the prices are fair, and the food is cooked perfectly. My companion really enjoyed the brisket, and the smoked pork was excellent.

This man is a master of BBQ. The flavors are bold, the meats are cooked perfectly and simply slide off the bones, and the sides are just as delicious. The restaurant is clean and simple with charming decorations. The owner is a cheerful person who takes good care of you once he sees you're enjoying his food. The service is quick and friendly.

I have dined at this restaurant twice with a group, and both times we were extremely disappointed. It appeared that the meat had been prepared hours in advance and was not fresh.
