Leon is always a must. The food is delicious and the Custard has a lot of options for toppings, including the taste of the day. But what makes this place so cool is the old entrance style building. When you arrive there, stay in your car and the waitress comes to your window with a menu. Once you decide what you want, turn on your headlights and they know you get your order. What Diane Weider doesn't like about Leon's Frozen Custard Incorporated:
I looked at menu online before going. Their prices and descriptions do not match. One of the worst hamburgers I have ever had. It was decribed as a steak burger on a kaiser roll. It tasted like meatloaf on a bun (not a kaiser roll) and it was almost $6. The only reason I gave it 2 stars (instead of 1) was because the custard was good. View all feedback.
Went there with a bunch of family. Everyone loved theirs except me. I got a small grasshopper and it was one bite of custard and the rest was just chocolate and mint syrup. I had to pour some of it on vanilla ice cream from home later and there was still too much syrup. The rest of my family absolutely loved theirs. I wish I had ordered something else.
I have only had their Custard, so my rating is based exclusively on it, but it is delicious, decently expensive and has a solid variety of options. On the photo we have the “avalanche”, which is their equivalent of a blizzard. I have vanilla with Marshmallow, raspberry and lemon. Very delicious!! My friend has vanilla, cherry, chocolate flakes and keksteig. Another combo, but he really liked it. I highly recommend going there and sitting outside on a beautiful day.
Every time you come back to Oshkosh, Leon's frozen Custard must visit
Excellent as always. The car hops are very friendly although they have to get out in the cold. The last day before they closed. Wait for warmer weather. B.
It's time!! Leon's is now openStopped by and got a super chocolate in a waffle cone. You should not miss out on all the deliciousness, make it your go to place. Staff is always extremely helpful and kind.
