The food was mediocre for the price we paid. The meatloaf was a bit dry, but thankfully I had ketchup at home. The potatoes were good. The ribs were decent, but the potatoes tasted like cafeteria food. The soup was too salty. The mornay pasta dish had clumpy noodles and the scallops were chewy. There was potential for improvement. Jeff's is a wonderful neighborhood pub with a cozy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I recently tried their All-You-Can-Eat Whitefish dinner and it was delicious - I haven't had fish like that in ages! Whether you're stopping in for a meal or a drink, you'll definitely be well looked after at Jeff's. So take a seat, unwind, and enjoy your visit.
This pub and restaurant is excellent. The dining room is spacious, allowing for social distancing, and beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We were promptly seated and the staff was friendly. Our glasses were never empty and the food was fantastic! Their fried chicken is particularly delicious and you can choose whatever pieces you like for your order. All of their burgers are 1/2 lb and cooked to your preference, served on lovely buns. The complimentary loaf of fresh bread is brought out warm, with whipped butter for easy spreading. We finished off with the tiramisu for dessert, which was absolutely delicious.
I can't believe I've lived in Oshkosh for 29 years and never eaten at this restaurant before. The staff was friendly and attentive, the classic dishes were very good, and the ribeye Oscar was delicious. I will definitely be back soon. I regret not trying this place sooner.
