The food was delicious and very affordable! For just $8 (tip included), I got a hot dog, some chips, and a root beer. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained and easily accessible. Parking was a breeze, which is a rarity for many places downtown. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy one of the best hot dogs in Wisconsin! View all feedback.

This place didn't live up to our expectations. The hotdogs weren't what we anticipated, and the fries had a taste that suggested they were cooked in old oil. The person working there wasn't as friendly as others have described. We ate inside, and it was quite dirty, with spiderwebs everywhere. View all feedback.

Stopped in today because my coworker was talking it up like it was the greatest place in the world. Wasn't really expecting much, had a it's just a hot dog kind of stance. Let me tell you this isn't just a regular hot dog joint the food was very very good, I don't know how he makes it but boy is the bacon sauce good! Makes me feel a little dumb I've been missing out on this place for years. I will definitely be stopping in more often for lunch. Great food and the owner was super friendly.
Tiny little place, wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't looking for a hot dog in the area. Owner seems to be a really nice guy and looked happy serving customers. The food- I got a Wisconsin dog (styled as a Chicago dog), world peace dog, fries and a soda. Hot dogs were excellent and lasted well in the 10 minute drive back to work, did not get soggy. Chicago dog was exactly what I was craving, the meat itself was much higher quality than expected. I've never liked chili dogs, so getting the world peace dog was a risk- one that paid off. I would absolutely buy it again. Fries were just slightly overcooked- which I and most people would probably prefer. When I got a soda I was expecting a fountain drink, but got to choose a glass bottled Sprecher soda, which is typically a premium elsewhere (the icing on the cake). Will 100% be back, will also recommend to friends and family. Great small business.
This was our first time at Charlie's. The owner was very nice and gave my son 4 quarters to use at the claw machine. Not your typical Oscar weiner/ beef frank hotdogs, it has a smokey flavor and tastes great! Drinks are awesome as well!
I love a good chili cheese dog and this is a great place to get one. Charlie is super friendly and love the feel of the place inside. It has a great location with plenty of parking too.
