We dined here on New Year's Eve, and it was a great choice! Our server was excellent, and the beer was enjoyable. The food was delicious as well. We had to try the Wisconsin cheese curds, and she ordered the chicken and waffles while I chose the perch with pommes. I do wish I had opted for something a bit more unique from the menu, but everything was still very tasty. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fox River Brewing Company Waterfront:
The food was average—nothing out of the ordinary, just your typical burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The servers were friendly, but they seemed unfamiliar with the menu. The setting is lovely, but if you choose to dine outside, be prepared for bees. During our meal, five bees landed on our food. On the bright side, the bar is fully stocked, and the gift shop is impressive. Overall, it was a decent experience. View all feedback.
I hope this isn't the norm. Out group of four had a horrible experience. We went for lunch and were seated outside. It took over 20 min for someone to come and take our drink orders. As we fast forward another 30 min we get our food. Two of use didn't even eat our burgers because they were way overdone. The bun even tasted stale. Not sure how you screw up burgers, but they sure did. All four of us agreed the only good thing we had were the cheese curds as the appetizer. So between the service and taste of food I will not recommend and doubt I will go back.
I have lived here for three years and have never tried this place so I thought I’d give it a shot. We went on a monday night. I ordered the bobber burger and my girlfriend got tacos. They do not toast their buns you get a dry Kaiser roll for your burger. They also do not cook their burgers to temp all of them are just well done. The server never asked me how I’d like it done. Came out well done. I asked if I could get it without mushrooms and they said yeah that be great because we’re out of them anyway but ironically the burger came out with mushrooms on it. Sent it back to the kitchen to get another burger that came out correct but even more dry. I took one bite and had to chug water because the food was so dry. The fries were cold. The beer was mediocre at best. Girlfriends tacos had more avocado then chicken. I’m sorry to be a bad reviewer but this was a horrible dining experience. I don’t think I’ll try this place again for awhile.
We had an exceptional experience dining room on a busy EAA weekend evening. Our server, Vaughn, was attentive and friendly. All in our party enjoyed their food, although the pulled pork sandwich was dry and overdone. We'll have something else next time and save the BBQ for a BBQ connection. Beverages were good, but quite expensive (12.50 for a 9-oz glass wine). The atmosphere and service are notch.
The food is really good; we have the Margarita pizza, cheese curds and beans dip. The food tho was extremely salty, literally everything was salted. The pizza was salted, cheeses, the chips were extra salty. I drank the pink oasis daiquiri. It was really good, pleasant, sweet- they are really good. We sat outside; they were pretty busy, but we were served pretty fast.
Large restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating with live music during the day warm months. Basic American fare. The food was OK but nothing to rave about. I had a barbecue brisket and chose broccoli as my side. The broccoli was slightly warmed but uncooked, so essentially I was eating it raw. I heard the soup was OK and the burger was what you would’ve expected. If you’re there during the early evening and in the main dining room expect that the sunlight coming through the windows will be exceptionally bright and is quite annoying. Unfortunately they don’t have any window coverings to shield the sun so you may wish to bring your sunglasses in, or sit with your back facing the window. Service was good and attentive and even though they were very busy they seem to handle things quite well. They have multiple seating areas so I would imagine generally the weight should not be too long. It’s probably worth a return visit when I’m in the area and try some of the other items on the menu.
