Evil Roy Slades Sportsbar - Oshkosh

Just a drinking place. Nothing special. It feels kind of clicky when you go there. The owner and his friends all know each other. Nobody greets you and you feel awkward until some nice lady offers to scoot down to give you a spot at the bar. They have a college scene on the weekends, complete with bouncer and younger music. It's been around for a while as the decor shows inside. Outside patio is newer and nice to hang out. Wish they would have a designated smoking area, I know it's outside but you can get over ran with smokers and smoking. If that's not your thing. I would skip this place and try one of the many others in town. Might be back, only because of the location.

Go here for local flavor. Cold draft beer in frozen mugs makes for happy customers. Tasty complimentary popcorn. Video games, large outdoor area, darts and many many flat screens for sports. Judging from the conversations the bartender and customers are all very well versed in sports including NASCAR. I found out it was happy hour when paying my check, drink was almost free!
