Nayuta - Osaka

Probably the best cocktails I have tried in a long time. There was no menu, you either choose a classic or advise of your favourite flavours and they create something. Using flavours like chocolate, cherry and then almond raspberry they created the most amazing drinks. Small bar on the 5th floor but difficult to find

Rather torn about my experience here. First, the drinks were downright fantastic. I asked for a “sweet, refreshing yet spicy” cocktail and they nailed ALL aspects. I had a flavourful party in my mouth and it was the first time in a long time that I savoured every bit of the drink. However, I found the service a tad…. patchy and odd. Vibes were very odd from the team of 5-6 men just hanging around at the bar area chatting amongst themselves and smoking up a storm. Also a little scary finding your way up to the bar where the surrounding is extremely quiet and building is a bit run-down. I travelled to the bar alone around 10pm which might have explained my experience. Nonetheless, the drinks were great but I doubt I will return.

Favorite bar in Japan so far. The speakeasy vibe was perfect. The dark, slightly smoky atmosphere was perfect. The mixologists were friendly and entertaining. The drinks were perfect. I’m afraid to praise it too much, I would hate to see it overrun with tourists, but GO HAVE A DRINK HERE!!!

One of the best cocktail bars i’ve been too. there’s no set menu you just describe what you like and they’ll make it for you. all the bartenders are highly skilled and atmosphere was moody, good for dates

We arrived at 21:00ish and were able to get seated right away. As we left a couple of hours later there was a long line of people waiting to get in. The staff all speak English and are able to suggest cocktails based on your preferences. I started off with their espresso martini which has elderflower! Will definitely be back.
