Los Venados - Orwell

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. This is now my top choice for Mexican cuisine. I will definitely be returning soon.

The server was fantastic as usual! The food was exceptional. This is our go-to Mexican restaurant for dining.

I would give this restaurant a 4-star rating. Sometimes we receive 5-star service, but there are times where it falls short and we would consider it a 3-star experience. The quality of the food also varies, with occasional 5-star meals but more often than not, we would rate it 3 stars. I believe a large part of this inconsistency is dependent on who our server is. They may take our order perfectly one time, but the next time it could be completely different or unavailable. Despite these inconsistencies, we frequent this restaurant monthly to meet with family as it is conveniently located and offers vegetarian options. Our continued patronage indicates that while it may not always be the best, it is never bad.

The entrance is an absolute nightmare. This is begging for a lawsuit. I wish I had taken pictures. A ridiculous poorly constructed stone wall across parking lot forces you to walk through a path of ill placed uneven different size and thickness paver stones in a valley of mud. Only to finally get to a concrete walk.....that was unshoveled and icy. When we made it inside the restaurant and spoke to the hostess she just shrugged her shoulders and laughed. We won't be back, the food definitely wasn't worth the risk.

Best Mexican for a small town! The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are very fair. The employees are extremely accommodating and very nice. They actually check on you quite often. Definitely reccommend going if your in Orwell.
