After hiking aways on Rasciesa, we came back to the funicular and stopped here for lunch. Although, kaiserschmarren was not on the menu...the waiter said that they would make it for us as they make the best in the valley. Indeed...it was delicious and crispy and I think it might have been the best in the valley too. We only ordered one and shared it between us...but we wish that we had ordered two as it was so good.... View all feedback.

It was a gorgeous day and we truly enjoyed our lunch here.
The place cannot handle a mass of people. Our food did not come all together. Waited a lot of time for each course. The food was OK
After taking the cable train up to Resceisa (Alp) from the town of Ortisei we arrived at the chalet. The view over the Sassolungo mountain group was breath taking and after a bit of a walk we settled in for lunch on an outdoor table. I enjoyed the huge chicken weinerschnitzel, french fries and salad. Service was good, the umbrella went up and there we sat leisuely enjoying a quiet afternoon taking in the scenery and surrounds.
