Trattoria La Cerqua - ORTE

I recommend this place to everyone, especially to those traveling along that stretch of highway, it's 5 minutes or less away!!! It is located in a grove with a lake where you can also fish!!! The place is small but very welcoming, the staff are courteous and kind!!!! We ate delicious chips made by them, then seasonal first courses with porcini mushrooms and truffles, and pici with bacon, walnuts and pecorino cheese, delicious!!!!! Excellent meat and abundant platter!!!! Excellent value for money

I would say EXCEPTIONAL ... I was on a business trip with a colleague of mine, I was on the A1 motorway and we decided to go out to Orte for lunch, after consulting Trip advisor, however we consulted local people who advised us to eat in this Trattoria ..... I'm just saying that it is not a Trattoria but a typical restaurant overlooking a pond .... practically a relaxing place!!!!. I am welcomed by a very kind boy who offers us a welcome prosecco.... the rest you have to stop to taste the FABULOUS MEAT, the BREAD, the WINE, the simple oil .. etc .... Thanks to all the staff and the owner Youri who delighted us until the end....

The place is very nice, we came by chance having seen the reviews on the internet. However, the dinner started badly, I order a supplì with truffle, after 30 seconds the waitress comes back telling me that it isn't there and proposing an alternative supplì, after 1 minute she comes back saying that it too is finished and offers us the 3rd solution. The two rice balls that arrive are piping hot on the outside and frozen on the inside. We have them sent back. They bring two more (it's been 1 hour in one there is only rice and cheese and in the other cheese and 2 cubes of bacon. To be avoided. They brought the two cuts (which in my opinion had been prepared after the first round of supplì so they were lukewarm, despite having been cooked on the grill. The meat was good but nothing special. The prices are normal except for the addition of 3 lines of balsamic vinegar and 2 radicchio leaves which cost 5 euros. As an apology, the waitress discounted us 2 euros and offered 2 small glasses of limoncello. I don't recommend it.

Cozy place in a nice place that is not easy to reach in bad weather. Kind and understanding staff. Some good dishes, but not excellent. Worth trying especially if you want to eat a bite out of the chaos and, perhaps, spend some time relaxing outdoors.

Very nice restaurant surrounded by nature, run by young people who know their stuff. We ate very well, very good meat, the average cost is between 25/30€
