DELICIOUS LOCAL CUISINE I had dinner at Tandir Restaurant twice during my visit to Ortahisar. The food was beyond delicious. I highly recommend the lamb shank. It was prepared perfectly. There was no need for a knife, the meat falls off the bone. The setting of the restaurant overlooks the historic Ortahisar Kalesi. Its a perfect location for an unforgettable dining experience. Unfortunately we didn't have much time and we had to find a place in a hurry. When we entered the place, there was an air as if we were not welcome at all. It took about an hour for the food to arrive, and it came incomplete. However, 4 small meatballs came. It was good in taste, the view was also nice, but there are definitely better places..
