The old farmhouse is beauti... read more Fabulous location if you are looking for a remote countryside venue yet within easy reach of urban attractions and lakeside tourism. The old farmhouse is beautifully restored, surrounded by a mix of cultivated farmland and woods. Catering is superb. There are nunerous animals on site and a play area for children, but you might need to look further afield for activities if you have children staying for several days. As a romantic or peaceful retreat, it is excellent.

Delicious food: from home-made pasta and risotto to vegetables and meats, everything was among the best we ever tried. Friendly staff which supported us in the choice of wine with our food. A complete experience!

We asked for the tasting menu because we’d seen it previously and enjoy tasting lots of different dishes. Everything was very fresh and tasty. It was clear that the chefs knew how to celebrate the ingredients. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond in their service including making sure we got home to Como. A really lovely, relaxing evening, what a meal out should be.

We had the menu for two at €32 each. Lovely smooth bottle of red. Starter was three meats, three cheeses and some salad/meat combination. Lovely. Second was a pasta dish, half was risotto and half was tagliatelle with a meat sauce. Very nice. Main course was pork roast slice, beef stewed, broccoli and sauté potatoes. All good. We then had a sorbet which was superb followed by a lemonchello. We rejected coffee as we were both totally full. It was out of our normal price range, but no regrets, great food, great staff.
