Good food! Nice place for lunch or dinner! Seats inside and outside. Also has a room for parties.
Never been here before, but was happy with my food. We were in the area for a weekend visit and managed to squeeze here before our departure for lunch. Sweet tea was on site. Not too sweet, not too sweet. I had the pulled pig and decided for the cut brisket unlike the chopped. I've been smoking meat for many years and hiding its much easier food when its chopped. The brisket was moist and delicate, and the smoke ring was very obvious. It stood firm and didn't need a sauce to make it better. The pig was tender and tasteful and the sauces accentuated it. The pommes and beans were as good as I had somewhere. While I give it 5 stars, it's more like 4.75 because no one is perfect. I'm looking forward to stopping again.
Ribs were good, but I prefer my sauce on the grill on the ribs not dry ribs. Just my preference.
I'm a native North Carolinian. While I visited Grandchildren and other Wadsworth family, my wife and I visited Old Carolina BBQ. I will tell you without any doubt that the BBQ is as good as anything we are exhibiting in N.C. This should not come as a robbery when the two guys who started the company learned their crafts in Eastern North Carolina. I highly recommend eating. the staff is beautiful as possible and the portions are huge. Come hungry. They won't be disappointed.
We love the family meals but somehow the food is always cold!
