All of our food arrived within about 10 minu... read more The service was good and the staff were friendly, although they became a bit overly familiar, which felt excessive. All of our food arrived within about 10 minutes of placing our order, which could be seen as a positive, but it made us question whether it was freshly cooked. Most of the dishes were lukewarm, and all seven plates were served at once, contrary to the traditional style of tapas where dishes come out as they are ready. The pork belly was not crispy and had a rubbery texture, while the calamari seemed like it had been sitting out, lacking the expected hot and crispy quality. When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, they were defensive and dismissive. Additionally, we noticed two bottles of wine mistakenly added to our bill, which were removed once we pointed it out. We were seated at the bar, which made us feel cramped as people frequently bumped into us, even knocking our bag off the bar. The atmosphere was disrupted by loud orders being shouted from the till, making it difficult to relax. Given how busy it was, perhaps that played a role in our experience, but overall, I wouldn't choose to return. We received the warmest welcome I've experienced in a while, even as new customers, and the service remained incredibly friendly throughout our visit. The authentic Spanish tapas were fabulous.
