Food exceptionally prepared and full of flavor. I'd recommend the buffet if you arrive during their buffet hours. This isn't your typical genetic bland flavored food, the food is truly authentic! Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

Home made tortillas on weekends. The food tastes amazing. Salsas are perfect, basket of chips and bean dip, the theme in here is gorgeous playing música mexicana. Surprising and delicious stop here in this city. Tortillas a mano es todo lo que necesitaba está súper delicioso todo. Te train chips con salsa y frijoles mientras esperas la comida me encanto todo. La música mejor todo muy authentico! Las decoraciones están súper bonitas también.

Found this place on way home. Authentic mexican food, great environment and warm hospitality. The food was delicious and the owner was friendly and made you feel welcomed. If you are looking for authentic mexican food, stop by La Catrina.

We were on our way home to San Diego. We stopped here for breakfast. It was delicious! I had the huevos de chorizo and my husband had the chili chilaquiles. We were both very happy with our meals. Service was great. Cute little place. I would come back again if in the area.

The food was excellent, and my server Adriana was kind and friendly. The chips, beans, salsa, and dips were fantastic. I went for breakfast and tried the Machaca huevos with beans and rice, which was delicious. I definitely need to come back for the buffet; it sounds amazing!
