I think we 've all seen the movie Pulp Fiction, and the milkshake scene? Vincent takes a drink of the milkshake and says it 's a real good milkshake but he doesn 't know it 's worth $5.Well, My happy leaders and feeders, Jacks Shack is the creator of milkshakes well worth the $5 price tag. Milkshakes in Dinuba are a little heavy on the sweet and that makes Jacks the winning contender here. I can see Jacks remodeled i... View all feedback.
What Sara Alyssa M doesn't like about Jack's Shack:
Used to be allot better but food quality is hit and miss. For the amount of time an order takes to be made you'd think it'd be allot better. Side note- I didn't see any staff wearing face masks while interacting with guests. View all feedback.
This is basically just Fresh Burger with a new name. They put the drive thru in a really bad location. It's almost like your playing a game of pinball as you have to approach from the East and drive diagonally across Ave 416 to get to it. Then the sound system is really bad and the person can never hear what we are trying to order so we always end up having to drive to the pick-up window to order. For awhile, the food quality was declining but it seems to be getting better again. I really like the crinkle cut fries and ketchup. I really wish they would add one vegetarian burger to their menu. I tried a grilled cheese and they just put a slice of American cheese between a sesame hamburger bun and grilled it-I'll stick to the fries next time. I am wondering if the owner Jack is the same owner of the gas stations etc in town. People in Cutler-Orosi always talk about Jack because he has donated money to the local schools.
The food is always fresh and delightful, cashiers gives excellent customer service. I loved how neat it is and character. Will visit here again.
On a recent visit with coworkers, I ordered an Ortega burger but received a jalapeño burger instead. When I pointed it out to the owner, he insisted it was indeed an Ortega burger, claiming the jalapeños were simply finely chopped Ortega chiles. This completely dismissed my observation and insulted my intelligence. If he had any understanding of his menu, he would recognize the difference. It seems like every time we go, they are out of specific items. Recently, they didn't have pastrami burgers or spicy chicken sandwiches, and when I tried to order a deluxe burger, they were out of that too—all during the lunch hour at 1 PM! To top it off, they have raised their prices! On my last visit, I noticed that the server was neither wearing gloves nor a face mask, even though there was a box of masks visible right behind the counter—especially concerning during a pandemic. It’s disheartening because I had previously recommended this place to many coworkers, and now I deeply regret it. I work for a local government agency, and with several employees needing quick meals, I can no longer recommend Jack's Shack until they improve their service. It's frustrating to see how poorly this business is being managed. The saying "the customer is always right" seems lost on them. We would be better off dining at any typical fast food restaurant, where we could expect to receive our orders without the added stress of dealing with attitude from the owners and staff.
Recently, my experience hasn't been great; they served me some burnt fish sticks.
I can easily imagine Jacks transformed into a vibrant '50s diner, complete with a parking layout reminiscent of Sonic. It's got that captivating retro vibe. My meals are consistently prepared perfectly—never overcooked—and the fries are simply amazing! Treat yourself to something cold and refreshing, and a big thank you to the hardworking staff. Keep up the great work!
